Donate2.com.au FAQ

Who is eligible to participate?

All bidders enter an agreement and must abide by the stated rules. This means that you must be the legal age of 18years old. We would recommend that employees of participating businesses who are providing goods/services should not be involved in the bidding for a number of understandable reasons. However this decision is entirely up to discretion of the businesses themselves. In the case of the Charities and Non for profit organizations most allow their staff and members to bid on auction items.

How do I register to become a bidder?

You can create a FREE bidder account by clicking the Register to on our home page Agree to the Bidder Terms & Conditions and fill out the registration form. If the form is filled out successfully, your account will be created and you will be able to start bidding on items. A copy of your account information will be emailed to you with a password.

I registered but did not receive the validation email, what was the problem?

When you registered you were asked to enter your email address, you could have enetered this incorrectly. If you are unsure about this email us @ info@donate2.com.au with your first and last name and email address. Check your junk and spam folders for the validation email. Some email systems require you to include us in your address book before you can accept emails in your inbox.

How do I bid on an item?

Once you have an account, use your username and password to enter into our bid section page. You will be prompted at the auction lot expanded page to browse the items through categories listed. Once you find the item that you’re interested to bid you then click the Place Bid button with the next bid level, or enter a maximum bid in the box at the bottom of the page. Then, wait for the confirm bid button to appear and "Click It" when it appears. You must enter a value in the Bid Box for a bid to take place.

• the charrity who is hosting the item will contact you to arrange the item for shippment and payment arrangements

How do bidders know if they are the winning bidder?

Our system sends an email to those people who have won items, confirms the amount and provides the instruction of payment. Once payment has been received a certificate is emailed and the item is collected from the participating store. Bidders can also go on-line and check 'My Bid History'.

At this point in time there is 3 ways the item can be paid for
